Intro

The main goal of the course is to provide practitioners with useful techniques that can be applied immediately after attending, enhancing the quality and predictability of their work.
In two days, you will learn how to manipulate and dominate soft tissue with a minimally invasive approach.

It is a unique program for BOPT Vertical Freedom tooth preparation.
Hands-on exercises include vertical tooth preparation for anterior and posterior teeth as well as exercises in temporary crown relining, analog and digital impression techniques, and lab workflow.

100% practical information.
All the steps to perform the BOPT Vertical Freedom Concept will be presented by Dr. Stefano Conti and performed by all the participants.

Who is this course suitable for?

icon

Prosthodontists:

who wish to have complete control over the gingival zenith position and aim to create an ideal gingival architecture with a minimally invasive approach.

icon

Periodontists:

who want to understand the advantages of a new prosthetic approach for maintaining stable soft tissue over time and learn how to increase and manipulate soft tissue thickness using a non-surgical approach.

icon

General dentists:

who want advanced training in the field of aesthetic restoration and who desire to apply the technique right after the course.

icon

Dental technicians:

who want to fully understand the final design of dental crowns with vertical preparation and wish to have complete control over the final positioning of the new prosthetic CEJ.

What will you learn

01

Learn how to perform the B.O.P.T. technique (vertical freedom concept).

02

Tooth preparation → Provisional relining → Impression → Final cementation.

03

Learn how to increase soft tissue thickness around teeth.

04

Master gingival architecture with a minimally invasive approach (biodynamic soft tissue shaping).

05

Gain insight into papillae and facial gingival dynamics around natural teeth.

    • Undercuts
  • How deep into the sulcus:
    • Controlled invasion of the sulcus and HSS (Horizontal Supracrestal Space)

Theory – temporary crowns

Demo and hands-on:

  • Chairside temporary crown from A to Z
  • Temporary crown relining step by step
  • Temporary crown design:
    • Designing a new emergence profile and prosthetic contours
    • How thick and deep into the sulcus the temporary crown margin should be
    • New PCEJ
